Consider mailing some boxes to yourself in Baku to help round out the luggage limits. I know it's another 'to do' but I have found it helps. You might also see if there is a teen who babysits through CLO. Just to hire while you are there to entertain kids for a while so you can cuddle Joseph. The baby sling sounds like a good try. That and a port-a-crib to take on the plane. Hang in there and pamper yourself too! This 'craziness' will pass!Nomads By Naturehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06893950431543999751noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8425073191016917244.post-20697754996302643152011-12-16T12:19:18.940-05:002011-12-16T12:19:18.940-05:00Big bummer about temporary housing in Baku! Most times when I get frustrated by mundane tasks in Bogotá (like a transaction at Citibank that should have taken 10 minutes, taking 45 minutes,) I am grateful that I'm not doing it with children trailing behind. Dad whines some, but no major meltdowns in public yet.PaulaJeanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12788937526450188043noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8425073191016917244.post-62843244110435922382011-12-16T12:12:55.126-05:002011-12-16T12:12:55.126-05:00Remember, Veni, Vidi, Visa!Remember, Veni, Vidi, Visa!UnkaDavehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04659489593294755934noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8425073191016917244.post-39856407003632960252011-12-16T11:46:36.916-05:002011-12-16T11:46:36.916-05:00I'm glad you'll get to have a day of shopp...I'm glad you'll get to have a day of shopping all by yourself. Retail therapy is a powerful thing! I am sorry about Joseph not sleeping or eating well. I do understand how frustrating that can be. Maybe you're already doing this, but maybe just strap that sweet boy in a baby bjorn(carrier) and carry him around with you for a couple of hours a day. That can be really soothing for some kids. Newborns are lots of work, but those sleepless nights and days are worth it...as long as everyone survives. ;) Hug your kiddos for us. We'll pray that everyone is able to rest and that your mile long list of things to do is accomplished without sending anyone over the edge. We love you guys!!dixonfamilyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04361226198872966860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8425073191016917244.post-8168661990210930122011-12-16T11:32:28.238-05:002011-12-16T11:32:28.238-05:00Oh man.
