The one move we were super worried we made a pile of things like blankets, sheets, towels, pillows, plushy toys, socks, playclothes, etc and requested that they go through and use all that for 'packing material' first before moving onto paper. I figured we might as well use our own household goods to our own advantage. We also wrapped our own smaller items into plastic boxes we had, including spices. Best of luck trimming down!
