The First Strike

With her sister not being yet 72 hours old, Kathleen has made the first strike in the eternal sibling war. Coming out from the bathroom, I found Sophia curled up on the floor, no longer in her car seat where she was peacefully sleeping. Kathleen looked both guilty and perplexed. Sophia has no idea what she's in for.

This is why mothers can't get anything done. They are too busy protecting their children from each other. Good luck!!

Congratulations on the new arrival. Look at all that hair!!! We are glad everyone is safe after the arrival...well atleast they are safe for now. Let the games begin. Ask Brandon about pulling the bassinet over in his attempts to greet his new sibling. Somehow we all survived?!

Nice. My big sister once put me in a doll cradle and covered me up with a blanket. My mother was frantic looking all over the house for me!

That song "Sisters" from the movie "White Christmas" comes to mind! Good luck with that! And I hope she learns to sleep through the night early! Until then, pray the adrenaline will keep you going for awhile!

Hmmm... Sounds like something Kathleen's mother might have done to her younger sister. What was that comment - "I don't like baby Laura. When can we send her back?" Let's hope they become friends at a much earlier point in life. Good luck! Sophia's adorable and we can't wait to meet her at the beach!
